Before the Chief Magistrate.
On the 14th instant, some Chinese constables from the District of Junon, brought accounts, recently received, of a warrant (vide Damant & appended), which they had received from the Chief Magistrate of that District, for the apprehension of Six (6) men, and one woman, accused of being concerned in the murder of a man at Tai Wan, in Hong Kong.
They requested assistance from the Chief Magistrate of Hong Kong, who, in compliance, ordered one of the Hong Kong Chinese Police, to accompany the captors of these individuals and assist in their apprehension.
A woman named Echup, or Banguishe was apprehended.
